The brick has been removed, plastic is covering the windows (cannot see out and feel like in a prison), and the block foundation has been laid (under the blue tarp). We are definitely on the way.

Construction(?) begins!
The digging of the foundation and the moving of one finger to the septic system started Monday.

Completed bathroom
This is the finished product. We ripped out the tile around the tub which was really cute, but not well done. We replaced it with a fiberglass tub surround. We also ripped up the vinyl flooring which had yellow stains on it. The floor took many, many hours to remove all of the old adhesive and make it smooth for the installation of peel and stick vinyl tiles (yes, Steve we can do it too!). We refinished the door and painted the walls. We next put up new trim, light fixture, and mirrors.
Foolish old people
We thought it would be fun to rent a jack hammer and do some of the work ourselves. Let's just say the whirlpool tub never felt so good that night!! Ginny and Ryan actually tore out one of the patios with a sledge hammer and pick axe, but the jack hammer worked much better.
